Booking terms

In business transactions done with AP-mökkipalvelut Oy, the following conditions apply to the booking of accommodation services and cancelling of ordered services:

Booking and Payment
AP-mökkipalvelut will send a written confirmation of the booking to the customer at the email address provided. A retainer of 30 % is due immediately and the balance 2 weeks before the start of the booking. If the beginning date of the booking is less than six weeks from the booking date, the full amount is due immediately. Failure to pay the invoice is not a cancellation.

Cancellations
A written notification of cancellation must be provided to AP-mökkipalvelut. The cancellation is considered received when the information about the cancellation has reached AP-mökkipalvelut.
If the booking is cancelled more than 60 days before the start of the booking, the deposit will be refunded less processing and cancellation fees €50. If the booking is cancelled 60-21 days before the start of the booking, the retainer will not be refunded.
If the booking is cancelled less than 21 days before the start of the booking, the full rent will be charged unless the property can be re-rented.
If the booking is cancelled in the event of illness, accident or death of the customer or his/her close relative, payments already made will be refunded less handling and cancellation fees €50.
In a case such as this, the customer must provide a medical certificate or some other reliable statement to AP-mökkipalvelut.
If the time of the booking is changed by the customer, this will be treated as a cancellation of the previous booking and a new booking.

The right of AP-mökkipalvelut to cancel the booking
In case of Force Majeure, AP-mökkipalvelut has the right to cancel the booking. In a case such as this, the customer will receive a full refund of the payments he/she has made. AP-mökkipalvelut has the right to cancel the booking if the customer has not paid the invoice by the due date.

Handing over the keys
The apartment is available to guests from the day of arrival at 4 PM until the day of departure at 12 noon. The keys are located in the locked key box near the front door. The client will get the key box code 2-3 days before the arrival date via text message or by telephoning AP-mökkipalvelut to the numbers provided below. The key is kept in the box at all times and is also left there on departure.
If the key is lost, the actual cost of changing the lock will be charged from the customer.

Other matters to consider
The accommodation price does not include bed linen or end cleaning. The customer will bring their own bed sheets and will take care of the cleaning of the apartment during and at the end of the stay. Cleaning and bed linen are available for extra charge, and they can be ordered by calling the telephone numbers provided below. If the apartment is not cleaned on departure, AP-mökkipalvelut has the right to charge an increased cleaning fee.
Pets are allowed in the apartment.
Smoking is not allowed in the apartment.

Number of People
The apartment may not be used by more people than has been registered when the booking was made. The maximum number of people in the apartment must not be exceeded.
The use of a motorhome or caravan on the site of the apartment is prohibited without the permission of the owner. If the customer wants to bring a portable outdoor hot tub to the apartment yard, the situation and fees must be agreed upon with AP-mökkipalvelut.

Damages and complaints

The customer is liable for compensation to AP-mökkipalvelut for any damage caused to the apartment or its contents. Any occurred damages must be reported immediately. Remarks related to the condition or equipment of the apartment must also be made immediately to AP-mökkipalvelut. The cause of the complaint will be corrected the next day or as soon as possible.
